Billie Joe Armstrong (nato il 17 febbraio 1972) è un cantautore, chitarrista e frontman statunitense, noto soprattutto come leader del gruppo punk rock Green Day. Nato a Oakland, in California, Armstrong ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra all'età di dieci anni, formando i primi gruppi musicali durante l'adolescenza.
