Manuel, born as Manuel Sanfilippo, is a Milanese singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and co-producer. His musical style falls into dark-pop with new soul influences. After over a decade of experience in the rock/metal scene with the band Anewrage – with whom he has two tours in the UK and shared the stage with artists such as Linkin Park, Nothing But Thieves, Sum41 and others -, in 2020 he gives life to his solo project under the pseudonym Mr.Saintphilip, releasing three singles in English: "It Doesn't Matter", "Don't Bother" and "On My Shoulders". Subsequently, he focuses on writing in Italian, debuting with the stage name Manuel and releasing in July 2023 the single "Ibisco", which officially consecrates him to the national scene. The song achieves incredible success, leading him to release it also in the "Piano Edition" version. On April 15, 2024, the artist returns with "Metalli", a musical rebirth that celebrates unity beyond differences and paves the way for his highly anticipated debut album. His songs are a therapy for the soul, the result of a deep expressive urgency and an inner world that externalizes itself in elegant lyrics wrapped in fresh and sparkling sounds. Refined, suggestive and endowed with a sweet and powerful timbre at the same time, Manuel is one of the best promises of the new Italian pop-rock scene.
