Solitude Aeturnus è una band di doom metal statunitense formatasi ad Arlington, in Texas, nel 1987. Considerati pionieri del genere, hanno contribuito a definire il sound epico e malinconico che caratterizza il doom metal classico. La loro musica si distingue per atmosfere cupe, riff pesanti e melodie evocative, spesso accompagnate da testi introspettivi che esplorano temi di solitudine, morte e spiritualità.
