Grupo Niche è un gruppo musicale colombiano di salsa fondato a Bogotà nel 1978 da Jairo Varela e Alexis Lozano. Attualmente basati a Cali, godono di grande popolarità in tutta l'America Latina. Jairo Varela è rimasto con il gruppo diventando produttore, direttore, paroliere, cantante e suonatore di guiro. Alexis Lozano, trombettista, ha lasciato il gruppo per formare Orquesta Guayacan. Tra gli altri membri fondatori si ricordano Nicolas Cristanelo al piano; Francisco Garcia al basso; Luis Pacheco alla conga; nonché i cantanti Jorge Bassam e Hector Viveros. Il gruppo è noto per la sua musica energica e contagiosa, caratterizzata da arrangiamenti complessi e un ritmo incalzante. Tra le loro canzoni più famose si ricordano 'Cali Pachanguero', 'El Baile del Gorila' e 'La Fiesta'.
