Baris Manço (January 2, 1943 – January 31, 1999) was a Turkish singer-songwriter, composer, and television producer. Considered one of the most popular figures in Turkey, he composed around 200 songs, some of which were translated into various languages including English, Japanese, Greek, Italian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Persian, Hebrew, and Arabic. His music blended rock, Turkish folk, and Eastern influences. Some of his most famous songs include "2023", "Domates", "Gülümse" and "Daglar Daglar".
