Bad 4 Good was a heavy metal band formed in 1991 by guitarist Steve Vai. The band consisted of four talented teenagers, the oldest of whom was only 16 years old. They were led by guitarist Thomas McRocklin, bassist Zack Young, drummer Brooks Wackerman and vocalist Danny Cooksey. McRocklin had previously appeared in one of Vai's videos ("The Audience Is Listening"), while Cooksey had an acting career and Wackerman is the younger brother of longtime Frank Zappa drummer Chad Wackerman. The band released a self-titled album in 1992, which received positive reviews for its energy and the musical abilities of its members. Despite their evident talent, Bad 4 Good did not achieve widespread popularity and disbanded shortly after the album's release.
