I see you there,
baggy pants and flowers in your hair
Pockets full of poppy seeds
You're smiling there
You're wearing your beads
but I'm anticipating something of a wild child
to be revealed.
If only I could steal one glimpse of your loveliness,
your fiery lioness
I'd be satisfied.
You know that I want you
so would you please allow?
There's never been a better time than now.
Looking so sweet so innocent,
you could fool the sharpest eyes
but I'm not so ignorant
of what it is you try to hide.
We're all just creatures on a rolling ball off course.
Of course we need the love.
Let me tell you I've got love,
you've got love,
we all got it baby.
Ooh sometimes it's hard to see but
I will guarantee it's there.
You know that I want you
so would you please allow?
There's never been a better time than now.
Some days I get a little crazed
thinking about the ways
that you amaze the hell out of me.
And then the time it passes by
like southbound birds in a winter sky
and I face forward and wonder why, wonder why.
You know that I want you
so would you please allow?
There's never been a better time than now.
There's never been a better time than now.
Gabe Dixon Band is a three-piece band that was formed in the fall of 1998 at the University of Miami. Their music is piano-driven rock akin to Ben Folds Five with a more serious tone, Jackson Browne and early 70s Elton John. The band worked with producer/engineer Eddie Kramer on their independently released debut album, More Than It Would Seem, in 1999. They relocated to New York City after graduation and were signed to Reprise by David Kahne. After Dixon respectfully declined the keyboard position on the Paul McCartney world tour to instead focus on production of the band's major label debut, On A Rolling Ball was released in 2002.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
