The Last Goodnight were an American rock band formed in Enfield, Connecticut, in 1995. Initially known as Renata, they changed their name in 2006. Their debut major label album, *Poison Kiss*, was released on August 28, 2007. The first single, *Pictures of You*, achieved international radio success in 2007. In 2008, they released a second single, *Stay Beautiful*, and embarked on a world tour. Despite initial success, Virgin Records did not renew the band's contract at the end of 2008. After a brief period as independents, lead singer Kurtis John announced in December 2010 that he would be leaving the band to pursue a solo career with guitarist Michael Nadeau. The band disbanded shortly after.
