Maanam was a highly successful Polish music group active from 1975 to 2008. Founded in Kraków, they captivated audiences with their unique sound that blended elements of progressive rock, pop, and electronic music. Their style, characterized by often ironic and satirical lyrics, made them one of the most popular bands on the Polish music scene in the 1980s. Among Maanam's most famous songs are "Obled", "Be My Baby" and "Wiosna w sercu". The group released numerous albums, including "Maanam" (1982), "Królestwo chmur" (1984) and "Nie ma sensu" (1987). Their success was also confirmed by numerous awards and accolades received throughout their career. The death of the frontman, Robert Jaszczak, in 2008 marked the end of an era for Polish music.
