The Parlotones are a South African musical group formed in Johannesburg in 1998. Composed of Kahn Morbee (vocals), Neil Pauw (guitar), Glen Hodgson (bass) and Paul Hodgson (drums), the quartet has distinguished itself for the sound experiments that characterize their songs, often enriched by diverse musical influences such as doo-wop or folk. A distinctive element of the group is the use of facial makeup by Kahn Morbee during concerts.
