Ilaria Mosca, nota artisticamente come La Rueña, è un'artista italiana appassionata di musica latina fin dall'infanzia. A 9 anni impara lo spagnolo da autodidatta e inizia a comporre i suoi primi brani a 14 anni. Nel 2018, all'età di 18 anni, pubblica il suo primo singolo "No quiero", che le permette di entrare in contatto con la Red Owl Records e firmare il suo primo contratto discografico. Il singolo debutta nelle radio italiane accompagnato da numerose interviste. I due singoli successivi non ottengono lo stesso successo. Nel febbraio 2020, La Rueña pubblica il suo primo EP "Avion de Papel", ma a causa dell'emergenza Covid-19 non viene promosso come previsto. Questo lavoro discografico mette in luce l'impronta artistica inconfondibile che caratterizza la musica della giovane artista pugliese. Dopo il suo primo EP, La Rueña pubblica diversi brani sulle piattaforme digitali di vario genere, tra cui Reggaeton, Dembow e Balada, incluso un brano in italiano intitolato "DUBAI".
