Pandoras box

I watched you pour your tears into my cup of coffie
I heard you burn your fears on your lounge curtains
for the world to see
But you say that you could never love me
You say that sort of thing only happens on TV.
Well did you feel above the world
as you sat on the roof - above the trees
and watched the people shrick in size
get on with thier lives, in focus it seems
but you say thats only how it appears to be
You say thats not right for them and it sure aint right for me
Baby won't you go and spin me one more crock of shit
that I can wear to school this summer
Tears fall from your lizard eyes - and crocodile you waste my time
but I can't break this spell Im under.
So Ill just go and throw my tears like pebbles down a wishing well
They're just a bunch of useless fears
and stupid values I could sell
Maybe my hearts like Pandoras Box aswell

Honey child ride the sea
with no anchor - youll drift endlessly
I guess thats just the way you want to be
But your the only one who really believes your free.

Biografia

Jordan Reyne is an experimental musician currently residing in Torun, Poland. Jordan's sound has been variously described as "industrial-tinged folk" and "antipodean Steampunk" yet defies any cut and dried genre description. She combines the two usually disparate genres of folk and industrial, bringing in Celtic vocal melody, historically-based narrative and the sounds of steam, iron and industrial "found sound". Several of her releases are set in the time of the Industrial Revolution.
