Foje è stata una delle rock band lituane più di successo e conosciute. Formatasi nel 1983 all'Antakalnis Secondary School di Vilnius da Andrius Mamontovas, Arnoldas Lukosius e Darius Tarasevicius con il nome "Sunki Muzika" (letteralmente "musica pesante"), il gruppo vide l'ingresso di Algis Krisciunas pochi mesi dopo.
