Faces were a British rock band active from 1969 to 1975. They formed after the departure of Steve Marriott from The Small Faces, with the original lineup consisting of Ronnie Lane (bass), Ian McLagan (keyboards), Kenney Jones (drums) and Rod Stewart (vocals). Their sound was characterized by a mix of classic rock and roll, blues and pub rock influences, with often ironic and self-deprecating lyrics.
