Bloodbath is a Swedish death metal supergroup formed in Stockholm in 1998. Considered one of the most important projects in the genre, the band brings together some of the most influential musicians in the international death metal scene. Among the founding members are: Anders Nyström (At the Gates), Jonas Renkse (Katatonia) and Fredrik Andersson (Edge of Sanity). Bloodbath is known for its brutal and atmospheric music, characterized by heavy riffs, fast blast beats and dark and macabre lyrics. The band has released seven studio albums, including "Resurrection Through Carnage" (2002) and "The Fathoming Strike" (2014), which have been critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
