Wire è una band inglese di rock formatasi a Londra nell'ottobre 1976 da Colin Newman (voce, chitarra), Graham Lewis (basso, voce), Bruce Gilbert (chitarra) e Robert Gotobed (nato Robert Grey, 21 aprile 1951, Marefield, Leicestershire) (batteria).
