FRASER/RODGERS
Do you remember
every morning
we would dress
and we'd be still yawning,
In the street
where people meet
we would wander around
in the northen heat.
All these days are gone
my Baby, now I'm all alone
I wish I had you near me
Baby, I wish I had you here
In the summer
days were lazy
and sometimes the heat
would drive us all crazy
singing songs all night long
till the light thru' the window
said another day had come
All these days are gone
Baby, now I'm all alone
I wish I had you near me
I wish I had you here.
Baby, do you remember
every morning
we would dress
and we'd be still yawning,
In the street
where people meet
we would wander around
in the northen heat.
Baby, oh these days are gone
and I'm all alone
I still remember
the good old days we spent together
Baby I can't forget
you know me
I can't forget
the good old days we spent together
Free is a British rock band active from the late 1960s to 1973. Known for their powerful blues-rock sound, influenced by hard rock, they reached the peak of success with the single "All Right Now", taken from the album *Fire and Water* (1970). The song became an everlasting classic of the genre, still performed at concerts and broadcast on radio stations. The band consisted of Paul Rodgers (vocals), Andy Fraser (bass), Simon Kirke (drums) and Paul Kossoff (guitar). Kossoff, considered one of the most talented guitarists of his generation, sadly passed away prematurely in 1976 due to an overdose. Besides "All Right Now", other representative tracks by Free include "Wishing Well", "The Hunter" and "I'll Be Creepin'". *Fire and Water* remains their most famous album, but also *Tons of Sobs* (1970) and *Highway* (1971) achieved considerable success.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
