Luker, real name Luca Vernengo (Palermo, December 9, 2000), is an Italian singer-songwriter who, despite coming from the rap scene, in recent years has declared his intention to move away from those roots to explore new genres like pop. A music lover since childhood, Luker began writing self-celebratory lyrics at the age of twelve, immersing himself in the urban hip-hop scene between freestyle and graffiti. After four years of writing without concrete results, he decides to publish his work on YouTube thanks to the meeting with Andrzej Art, a music producer and friend of Luca. His first love song, *Distance Love*, released in 2015, reaches over 160,000 views on the artist's YouTube channel. In 2017 he releases *Ricorderò*, which achieves great radio success in Palermo, followed by *Volare su due Ruote* (2018), a significant song for Luker as it tackles the theme of disability, inspired by his brother's story.
