The Stone Roses were a British rock band formed in Manchester in 1983. The group, consisting of Ian Brown (vocals), John Squire (guitar), Mani (bass) and Reni (drums), achieved international success in the 1990s with a psychedelic-indie sound influenced by the Madchester scene. After the success of the album "Second Coming" in 1994, the band disbanded in 1996. After a long hiatus, The Stone Roses reunited in 2011 with a new album, "Beautiful South", and have continued to tour internationally.
