Claude Nougaro (9 settembre 1929 – 4 marzo 2004) è stato un cantautore e cantante francese, considerato uno dei più importanti esponenti della chanson française del XX secolo. Nato a Tolosa, in Francia, Nougaro ha iniziato la sua carriera come musicista jazz negli anni '50, collaborando con artisti di fama internazionale come Miles Davis e Chet Baker. Nel corso degli anni '60, si è affermato come cantautore, componendo testi poetici e melodie originali che hanno conquistato il pubblico francese. I suoi brani sono caratterizzati da un'atmosfera malinconica e nostalgica, spesso incentrati su temi di amore, perdita e solitudine. Tra le sue canzoni più famose ricordiamo "Les Feuilles Mortes", "La Chanson des Vieux Amants" e "Le Temps Passe".
