Triptykon è un gruppo musicale svizzero di genere black/doom metal formatosi nel 2008 da Tom Gabriel Fischer, già frontman di celebri band come Celtic Frost, Hellhammer e Apollyon Sun. Il progetto rappresenta una naturale evoluzione del sound dark e atmosferico che caratterizza la discografia di Fischer, con influenze provenienti dal doom metal classico e dalla musica classica. Triptykon si distingue per l'utilizzo di arrangiamenti orchestrali complessi e testi profondamente introspettivi che esplorano temi come la spiritualità, la morte e il senso dell'esistenza. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Shadow of a Doubt", "Myopic Messiah" e "Requiem."
