Charlie Rich (1932-1995) è stato un cantautore e musicista statunitense di genere country. Nato a Coltman, Arkansas, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '50 come pianista e cantante in locali di Memphis. Dopo aver firmato con la Sun Records, ha ottenuto il suo primo successo con il brano "The Girl from Amarillo" nel 1964. Nel corso degli anni '70, Rich ha raggiunto l'apice della sua popolarità con successi come "Behind Closed Doors", "Every Time You Touch Me", e "I Don't See Me in Your Eyes Anymore".
