Tricky, real name Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws (born in Bristol in 1968), is a British musician known for his experimental and dark musical style. His distinctive voice, often described as a whispered sprechgesang, blends with electronic atmospheres, trip hop and dub reggae influences.
