Avicii, the stage name of Tim Bergling (1989-2018), was a Swedish record producer, DJ and composer. Considered one of the pioneers of progressive house, Avicii achieved international fame with his single "Levels" in 2011, which topped charts in numerous countries. Avicii collaborated with artists such as Aloe Blacc, Coldplay and Adam Lambert. In 2016 he announced his retirement from live performances due to health reasons, but continued to produce music until his tragic death in 2018 at the age of 28.
