Sing along

(hammerin hammerin hammerin)

Hammerin hammerin
Hammerin hammerin

Halleluhoodwink a hounds life is for me
Everything but the kitchen sink he built it just for me
Hallelu youre the thing that leads me to the mark
Id build you a river but Im still not through with this ark

Man built a furnace a mercedes-benz
Man built the cities of kansas and berlin
Man slew the bison and he built a thieves road (oh oh oh oh)
That pass over tel aviv-jaffa and lead to the mother lode
Mother lode

Hallelu-half-a-wit a mules life is for me
Steppin off a parapet with a dog nippin my knee
Hallelu youre the girl that whispers through the wall
Id build you a hammer with a thick (thick thick) head and long claws

Man built an empire out of ocean and earth
Man built the prisons of joliet san quentin leavenworth
And man built a market for muhammad ali (oh oh oh oh)
Evel knievel and the legacy of john wayne
Gacy gacy

But I cant sing along (bury my body girl)
But I cant sing along (bury my oh)
But I cant sing along (bury my body girl)
But I cant sing along
Sing along
Sing along

Hallelu hallelu
Hallelu hallelu
Hallelu hallelu hallelu hallelu

But I cant sing along (bury my body girl)
But I cant sing along (bury my oh)
But I cant sing along (bury my body girl)
But I cant sing along
Sing along
Sing along

Man built a furnace a mercedes-benz
Man built the cities of kansas and berlin

Biografia

Grant Lee Buffalo was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, consisting of Grant-Lee Phillips (vocals and guitar), Paul Kimble (bass) and Joey Peters (drums). All three were previously members of another Los Angeles band, Shiva Burlesque. As Grant Lee Buffalo, they released four albums: *Fuzzy* (1993), *Mighty Joe Moon* (1994), *Copperopolis* (1996) and *Jubilee* (1998), the latter without Kimble who had left the band the previous year. In the United States, the band may perhaps best be remembered for their 1998 single, "Truly, Truly", which received extensive airplay. Some of their most representative songs include "Fuzzy", "Mockingbird" and "The Way Love Goes".
