Steel eyes stare back at you
Held by his gaze he's healed you
Gripped by terror for now you see
The talisman shall hold the key
The blind prophet shall breathe fire
Foretelling dreams of past
And visions of your death
He lies shackled in the mire
And beckons to your cries
Dreaming of your dreams
Corrupt eyes filled with hate
Their greedy souls opened
Hell's gate
The crosses mirror his growing rage
They've breached this keep
He's fled his cage
So I bring black plague to you
Lightning congeals to kill you
Relentless screams call unto me
We are the soldiers of steel
The blind jackal of remorse
Has chosen you as pawn
And seized your crippled mind
Blue eyes glowing slammed the door
And killed the silence we once knew
Deliverer of mankind
Still I will seek the truth
The pious one can never rule
Prophetic visions are now shown clear
Upon the wall "I will be free"
So I bring black plague to you
Lightning congeals to kill you
Relentless screams call unto me
We are the soldiers of steel
So I bring black plague unto your world
Sanctuary is a thrash/power metal band active since the 1980s. The original lineup included future Nevermore members Warrel Dane and Jim Sheppard, who would later shape the sound of that group. Sanctuary released two studio albums: the self-titled "Sanctuary" in 1986 and "Into the Mirror Black" in 1987, both considered milestones of American thrash metal. Their musical style is characterized by fast and aggressive riffs, power metal melodies and a strong progressive influence. Among the most representative songs are "The Serpent's Tongue", "Into the Mirror Black" and "Die for You". Despite the band's short lifespan, Sanctuary left an indelible mark on the heavy metal music scene.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
