Bob Hund is a seven-piece indie rock band from Sweden. The name, which in Swedish means "Bob Dog", derives from a character in a television cartoon series. Their music, difficult to classify, has been described by some as «a frantic celebration of the power of music to invigorate and give life», while others have suggested that Bob Hund sounds a bit like what you might expect if you managed to merge Pere Ubu, Pixies and Kraftwerk. Active since 1989, they are considered one of the most influential indie rock bands in Sweden.
