Pivirama is the musical project of Sicilian singer-songwriter Raffaella Daino, who has been based in Rome since she was a child. Active since 2009, the band is characterized by a psychedelic post-rock sound that blends dreamy and visionary atmospheres with experimental rock influences. Daino, voice and songwriter for the project, is accompanied by a constantly evolving musical formation. Pivirama has released two albums: "Cosa Sembra" (2011) and "In My Mind" (2013), the latter made in collaboration with violinist and pianist Bjm Mario Bajardi. The band has received important recognition, including three Critics' Awards at the Daolio Festival, the Io Racconto Festival and the Music Think Tank festival. They have participated in numerous festivals and showcases, sharing the stage with artists such as Afterhours, Africa Unite, Patty Pravo and Giorgio Canali. Pivirama's music has been described by the press as "experimental rock of great sonic and emotional impact", "hypnotic-psychedelic atmospheres" and "a sexy rock that surprises the listener".
