Håkan Gessle is a Swedish singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Halmstad in 1960. He is best known as the co-founder of the music group Roxette, with whom he achieved international fame in the 1980s and 1990s. Gessle stands out for his catchy melodies, romantic lyrics, and distinctive vocal delivery.
