Quarashi is an Icelandic musical group formed in Reykjavík in 1996. The band, composed of Einar Örn Benediktsson (vocals), Snorri Helgason (guitar) and Þórður Ingi Björnsson (drums), gained international popularity with the single "We Will Rock You" in 2001, a reinterpretation of the Queen song. Their music is characterized by a mix of alternative rock, electronic and traditional Icelandic influences. Quarashi released five studio albums until 2005, the year of their disbandment.
