Los Piojos were an Argentine rock band active from 1987 to 2006. Considered one of the most influential groups in the Argentine rock scene, they managed to combine elements of hard rock, punk and Latin American folk music. Their characteristic sound was defined as 'rock with a popular soul'. The band achieved national success thanks to songs like 'El fin del mundo', 'La vida es una fiesta' and 'Yo no quiero ser tu amigo'. The group released eight studio albums, including 'Los Piojos' (1990), 'Corazón de lobo' (1993) and 'Sueños de libertad' (1997).
