Cismei outro dia e quis me suicidar
Fui me atirar do Viaduto do Chá
A turma que passava não queria deixar
A vida pro meu lado estava má
Consciência pesada me mandava pular
Consciência pesada me mandava pular
Resolvi então saltei
O carro que passava eu achatei
Minha cabeça se esfacelou
E o chofer lá de dentro gritou
O viaduto quebrou
Ou alguém louco ficou
Em cima da capota o meu corpo jazia
E pela minha face o sangue escorria
Chamaram o meu pai mas veio a minha tia
Levar pro necrotério ela queria
Pois eu já não vivia
Mais um inútil morria
No dia seguinte o enterro saía
Pra Quarta Parada ele se dirigia
Uma flor negra o meu caixão cobria
O túmulo frio a terra cobriu
Foi mais um que partiu
Fui enterrado com a camisa do meu tio
Era meia noite quando eu quis sair
A cova era apertada para eu dormir
Eu era um fantasma e quis conversar
Com alguém que estava sentado a fumar
Era uma caveira vulgar
Não pode nem me assustar
Os Mutantes are a Brazilian musical group formed in São Paulo in 1966, considered one of the pillars of the Tropicália movement, a cultural and musical current that blended elements of psychedelic rock, bossa nova and samba with political and social influences. The group consisted of Rita Lee (vocals), Sérgio Dias (guitar) and Arnaldo Baptista (keyboards). Their music, characterized by ironic and experimental lyrics, had a significant impact on the Brazilian music scene of the 1960s and 1970s. Among Os Mutantes' most representative songs are "A Minha Menina", "Panis et Circenses" and "Ando Meio Desligado". After a series of successful albums, the group disbanded in 1978 to reunite on several occasions in subsequent years. Rita Lee continued her musical career as a solo artist, becoming an icon of Brazilian rock.
