Željko Joksimovic is a Serbian singer, songwriter and musician born in Belgrade in 1972. Considered one of the most popular Balkan artists, he gained international fame thanks to his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2004, he represented Serbia with the song "Zauvijek", finishing second. He has also written lyrics for other Eurovision participants and hosted the 2008 edition of the contest. Joksimovic is known for his musical style that blends elements of pop, rock and Balkan folk.
