Everybody's all gone
Everybody's had enough
It's gettin' ugly out
I'm so tired so tired so tired so take me home
It's getting late (getting late)
Come here and wait for me
Let's get out of this place
It never changes, it just stays the same
So take me home
(Come on, let's go)
I just run away, I've had it here
I just gotta get out of here, I've had it here
I just wanna run away, I'm done with this
Grab your coat, just take me, take me
Just take me back to your house, your house
Come on take me back to your house, your house
Just take me home
Don't wanna go home all alone
Just take me back to your house, your house
Come on take me back to your house, your house
Just take me home
Don't wanna go home all alone
Just put a record on
Make it a country song
Come on, make a drink for me
Let's sing along the songs of vacant hearts
Let's stop all the talk
Let's take it easy now
We don't have to worry about anything at all until the dawn
Just take me home
(Come on, let's go)
I just run away, I've had it here
I just gotta get out of here, I've had it here
I just wanna run away, I'm done with this
Grab your coat, just take me, take me
Just take me back to your house, your house
Come on take me back to your house, your house
Just take me home
Don't wanna go home all alone
Just take me back to your house, your house
Come on take me back to your house, your house
Just take me home
Don't wanna go home all alone
Take the keys to my car
Lets drive
I'm lonely, so lonely
Can I come home with you?
I'm lonely, so lonely
Can I come home with you?
My head is spinning circles, think I need a rescue
I don't know why I just feel like chillin' with you
I'm chillin' with you
I'm chillin' with you
I'm chillin' with you
Just take me back to your house, your house
Come on take me back to your house, your house
Just take me home
Don't wanna go home all alone
Just take me back to your house, your house
Come on take me back to your house, your house
Just take me home
Don't wanna go home all alone
Don't you wanna get out get out get out
Take the keys to my car
Let's drive
I'm lonely, so lonely
Can I come home with you?
I'm lonely, so lonely
Can I come home with you?
My head is spinning circles, think I need a rescue
I don't know why I just feel like chillin' with you
Like ice melting in the stream
I can't hold on to how I used to be
A better man would understand, will you?
Basement Jaxx is a British electronic music duo formed by Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton in the 1990s. Initially known for hosting a popular club night in London, they went on to produce their own music, releasing their debut album *Remedy* in 1999. The album was an immediate success, with singles «Red Alert» and «Rendez-Vu» reaching the top five of the UK charts. Their second album, *Rooty*, takes its name from the club nights they used to run and was equally popular, with singles «Romeo» (No. 6) and «Where's Your Head At?» (No. 9) charting. The latter song is arguably the Basement Jaxx' most famous, having been featured in TV shows, adverts, and video games. The music video for «Where's Your Head At?» features monkeys wreaking havoc in a laboratory.
