Hardline is a melodic hard rock band formed in the early 1990s. The group achieved international success with their self-titled debut album in 1992, which included the singles "Life to Live" and "I Won't Let You Down". The original lineup consisted of Johnny Gioeli (vocals), Neal Schon (guitar), Mike Slamer (bass) and Shane Gaalaas (drums). After the success of their first album, the band released two more studio albums: "2nd Time Around" (1995) and "Danger Zone" (1999). In 2002, Hardline disbanded. The original lineup reunited in 2018 for a world tour and has continued to record new music. Hardline is considered one of the most important bands of the melodic hard rock movement of the 1990s.
