It was getting dark
Across the park,
When I saw her sitting there,
A little girl who must have lost her way.
The night was clear and I could see
The tears welled up in her eyes.
She didn't say a word,
She just kept staring at the sky.
I asked her why she was so sad,
And did my best to make her laugh
And when she finally spoke,
Her words took me by surprise. She said:
(REFRAIN):
The angels are cying in heaven tonight
Their hearts are so heavy,
They've got tears in their eyes.
The angels are cying in heaven tonight
'Cause they can't understand,
Why we can't find the light.
She said they cry for all the lies we live with everyday,
And for all the children sick and in the rain.
For the noble dreams that somehow seem to always be in vain,
And for the the gentle hearts who still believe in the miracle of faith.
It seems so strange that a little girl could know so much about a troubled world,
But now I see, she had to be an angel in disguise.

And the Angels are crying....

Herman's Hermits are an English rock band formed in Manchester in 1963 as Herman and The Hermits. The group, led by manager and producer Mickie Most, adopted a clean-cut and non-threatening image, despite originally being oriented towards R and B. This approach contributed to Herman's Hermits' huge success in the mid-1960s, but limited their creativity, relegating the original songs of Noone, Hopwood, Leckenby and Green to B-sides and album tracks. The group reached the peak of their success with hits like "I'm Henry the Eighth, I Am", "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" and "Can't You See". Herman's Hermits continued to record and perform until the 1970s, maintaining a loyal fan base.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
