I Punch Brothers sono un gruppo musicale di musica bluegrass proveniente da Brooklyn, New York. Composto da Chris Thile (mandolino), Gabe Witcher (violino), Noam Pikelny (banjo), Chris Eldridge (chitarra) e Paul Kowert (contrabbasso), il quintetto è noto per il suo sound originale che fonde elementi di bluegrass tradizionale con influenze jazz, classica e progressive. Fondato nel 2006 da Thile, ex membro del gruppo Nickel Creek, i Punch Brothers hanno rapidamente guadagnato fama per le loro performance virtuosistiche e la complessità musicale.
