Basteiro-Bertolí nasce a Barcellona, Catalogna. Seguendo la tradizione familiare studia Ingegneria Industriale ma l’abbandona per andare negli Stati Uniti a studiare Arte Drammatica. Si laurea poi in Storia della Chiesa ed Archeologia Cristiana, trasferendosi a Roma. Comincia a scrivere canzoni, grazie agli studi di pianoforte e chitarra fatti da bambina. Il suo incontro con Ian Anderson, leader dei Jethro Tull, marchierà a fuoco l’inizio del suo percorso musicale. Sarà lui ad invitarla a suonare davanti a 2.000 persone per la prima volta ed è con l’artista che collabora nella realizzazione del suo primo album. “Cofing”, infatti, è stato il primo singolo nonché video musicale diretto dal regista Toni Aloy che ne anticipò l’uscita. La musica di Basteiro-Bertolí è unica come la sua figura di artista e la sua sensuale androginia. Suoni ricercati e sofisticati con un mix di folk, elettronica ed atmosfere dark si fondono perfettamente con la sua profonda voce baritonale, unica per una cantante donna.
