King Missile is an avant-garde band led by poet/singer John S. Hall since 1986. The project has gone through various incarnations over the years. Currently, Hall performs with a new version of the first incarnation, King Missile (Dog Fly Religion). The sound of King Missile is characterized by poetic and surreal lyrics, often ironic and satirical, accompanied by musical arrangements that range from alternative rock to folk, passing through jazz and electronic influences.
