Marty Stuart (born John Martin Stuart) is an American country singer, guitarist, and musician born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, in 1958. Considered one of the greatest interpreters of bluegrass and traditional country music, Stuart began his career at age 13 as a member of Lester Flatt's band.
