Destruction è una band tedesca di thrash metal, considerata uno dei "tre re" della scena thrash metal teutonica, insieme a Kreator e Sodom. Tutte e tre le band sono spesso accreditate di aver contribuito a pionierare il death metal, contenendo diversi elementi che sarebbero diventati caratteristiche del genere. Fondata nel 1982 a Spandau, vicino Berlino, la band ha pubblicato oltre dieci album in studio, tra cui "Infernal Overkill" (1985), considerato un classico del thrash metal tedesco, e "Eternal Devastation" (1986). Destruction è nota per il suo sound aggressivo e veloce, influenzato dal punk rock e dal heavy metal tradizionale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Total Desaster", "Bestial Invasion" e "Mad Butcher".
