Rolf Harris (March 13, 1930 – May 10, 2017) was an Australian entertainer known for his versatility as a singer, musician, actor, and painter. Born in Bassendean, Western Australia, Harris began his career in the 1950s with his folk-rock style music and comedic performances. He achieved international fame in the 1960s with the hit song "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport", which became an Australian anthem. Harris appeared on numerous British television programs, including "Rolf's Cartoon Club" and "Animal Hospital", showcasing his talent for animation and painting. In 2014, Harris was convicted of sexual assault against minors, ending his career and his celebrity status.
