I've been sleeping on stones.
Oh, oh, oh.
My mistakes are easier made the second time,
I can't move on since I've closed my eyes.
Since I've closed my eyes.
I've gone off myself from everybody else.
To move on is to grow,
you'll never be able to accomplish anything,
I know the ways to go.
I can't bring myself to move forward. ?
I've been sleeping on stones, and they've formed to my spine,
my once straight-backed now all crooked lie.
I've broken no bones, and I appear to be just fine,
my life's spinning deep from the inside.
Every decision is easier made the second time.
Every decision is easier made the second time.
The distance becomes greater to your mind,
to change the way your living your life.
To move on is to grow,
and we can barely accomplish either right or wrong.
We know the way to go,
yet we follow those with their eyes closed.
I've been sleeping on stones.
We've been sleeping on stones.
And they've formed to our spines,
Our once straight-backed now just crooked lies.
When we all wake up, its hard compared to which we loved,
we will wish we had stopped the first time.
When we wake up to the lies that we've created.
So turn around and head back the way you came.
I'll follow you, I'll follow you.
We'll be sent back in our way.
That is where we came back to where our lives bridged off.
We will take the path we should have taken all along.
This distance becomes greater to your mind.
To changing your living your life.
We Came As Romans is an American metalcore band formed in 2005 in Ohio. The original lineup consisted of Dave Stephens, Kyle Pavone, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton and Blake Bargar. Among their most notable albums are "To Plant A Seed" (2009), "Understanding What We've Grown To Be" (2011) and "Tracing Back Roots" (2014).
