Ian Tyson (born September 25, 1933 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian singer-songwriter of international fame. Known for his song "Four Strong Winds", he formed the duo Ian and Sylvia with Sylvia Fricker, one of the most influential folk duos in Canada during the 1960s.
