Jay Park is an American rapper, singer, and dancer of Korean descent. Born in Seattle in 1987, he began his career as a member of the South Korean idol group 2PM, debuting in 2008. After a controversy with JYP Entertainment, he left the group in 2010 and moved to South Korea to pursue a solo career.
