Poco is an American folk rock band formed in the late 1960s by Richie Furay, Jim Messina, and Rusty Young, former members of Buffalo Springfield. Their sound, characterized by country and bluegrass influences, has garnered a devoted following in the United States. Although commercial success was not constant, Poco achieved several Top 20 chart placements. After an initial split in 1984, the band reunited on several occasions and continues to perform today. Their debut album, *Pickin' Up the Pieces* (1969), and the self-titled follow-up in 1970 failed to achieve the desired success. With the 1973 album *Crazy Eyes*, which reached number 38, Poco reached its commercial peak. After leaving their record label two albums later, the band continued to record and perform with a loyal following.
