LYRICS FOR TRANSMIT DISRUPT - TRANSMIT DISRUPT
Surrounded by a faceless crowd
An operational decline, system closure
Abondoned aerials all around
Scrambling pictures crackling sounds, failing senses
Communication cutting out
The airwaves must be breaking down
Intercepted. call disrupted
Dissection starts with just a cut
Another specimen prepared
For incision
The surgeon brandished the knife
He whispers 'this won't hurt a bit'
Maybe a little, it's just procedure
First step through the door
And I've been here once before
Back then in control
Held tight in my hands
And I threw it all away
To glimpse the other side
Eyes sunk in my head
Hesitation will be death
Push back kick it out
Bring down the satellite
Hell Is For Heroes was a post-hardcore band from London, England. Founding members Will McGonagle and Joe Birch (previously of Symposium) were joined by James Findlay, Tom O'Donoghue and later Justin Schlosberg. The band played their formative shows in West London throughout 2001. Their sound was characterized by a mix of punk energy, emotive melodies and heavy riffs, influenced by the American post-hardcore of the '90s. Among their most representative songs are "The Last Time", "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me" and "This Is The End". Their debut album, "The Art of Losing", was released in 2005 and received a good response from critics. The band disbanded in 2010.
