Words and Music by Gillian Welch and

Well the skys turned pink on the eastern edges
Night is cold and still
I don't know if it's the sunrise warming the desert
Or the lights of Tucson from over the hill
Well it's a hard way to love you this long distance romance
All the stopping and starting again
Well I don't mind the miles when Im out on the highway
Even when Im with you the miles just don't end
And Im two days from knowing
Weather I can be strong
If I spend one more night in your arms
Got a mind to keep going
And drive right past your door
But Im two days from knowing for sure
As the night closes down it fills the horizon
And stretches it out at the seams
I don't know if tomorrow I'll be any closer
To closing the distance between you and me
But Im two days from knowing
Weather I can be strong
If I spend one more night in your arms
Got a mind to keep going
And drive right past your door
But Im two days from knowing for sure
Got a mind to keep going
And drive right past your door
But Im two days from knowing for sure
Pinmonkey is an American country music group formed in 1998 by Michael Reynolds (lead vocals) brothers Michael (vocals, bass guitar) and Chad Jeffers (Dobro, lap steel guitar) and former Pure Prairie League member Rick Shell (drums, vocals). Their first album, *Speak No Evil*, was released independently in 2002. Later that same year, they signed to BNA Records and released their self-titled album. It produced the singles "Barbed Wire and Roses" and "I Drove All Night", both of which charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts. The band later released a cover of Robbie Fulks' "Let's Kill Saturday Night", but it failed to reach Top 40.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
