I'm calling out to you
There's nothing I won't do
I'd like to see you smile
If only for a while
And when I get your call
You make no sense at all
Did I forget to say
You're looking good today?
I've always liked the way
You brushed three times a day
You like to keep 'em clean
You know just what I mean
And when I say your smile
Sparkles for a mile
You tell me what to do
To go and brush mine too
Would you like for me and you
To go on talk it through
You can stay for a while
And excersise your smile it's up to you
To find the way
To brighten up your day
'Coz I've got so many things I'd rather do
And I'd like to go and do them without you
It's another day
You're back around my way
You tell me that you will be
Anything for me
So if you came to tease
Then use your hanky please
I'd like to keep mine clean
You know just what I mean
Spiderbait is an Australian alternative rock band formed in Sydney in 1989. The band, consisting of Janet English (vocals), Mark Maher (guitar) and Kram (drums), achieved great popularity in the 1990s thanks to their energetic and catchy sound, blending elements of punk rock, surf rock and noise pop. Among their most notable successes are "Black Wit", "The Curse of the Black Widow" and "Bug". In 2004, the band announced a long hiatus, although they continued to perform occasional concerts in subsequent years. In 2013, they returned to recording new material, proving that they had not lost their musical appeal. Spiderbait has won two ARIA Awards: as best group in 1997 and for best cover in 2000.
