Ermal Meta è un cantautore, compositore e polistrumentista albanese naturalizzato italiano. Nato a Tirana nel 1980, si trasferisce in Italia all'età di sette anni. La sua musica fonde elementi del pop, rock e cantautorato italiano, caratterizzata da testi introspettivi e melodie orecchiabili. Meta ha raggiunto la fama nazionale partecipando al Festival di Sanremo nel 2018 con il brano "Non mi avete fatto niente", classificandosi secondo e ottenendo un grande successo commerciale.
